Circus act

Today's schedule brought me to an elementary school in Trumbull where a gaggle of kids put on a circus for the rest of their classmates. It was cute to shoot but to those of you with raging clown fear---BEWARE!!

Rockin' with Rocky

I photographed blues musician Rocky Lawrence the other day. I believe he's from New Haven but apparently he travels down south for performances quite often.

CT Ballet does Broadway

Members of the Connecticut Ballet performed recently at Harding High School in Bridgeport where they put on a variety of dance numbers from famous Broadway musicals. I tried to go with the flow of the low light and use the long shutter speeds to my advantage. The dancers are extremely fluid so I thought heck, why not the images too.

Shake & break

I photographed baby Max yesterday----2nd boy of my friends Matt and Wendy. What started out as a few simple portraits turned into a breakdancing fest with Matt (King of Breakin') and his first born Tyler who will be 3 in May. That Tyler---his moves are sweeter than candy. Dag!

Tyler has this awesome spiked fauxhawk so I decided to try some slow-shutter zooming on him. After slapping my fave filter on the image, I think I've got the cover for my first album. Nice!

Jonesing for June

So I stopped by my friend Matt's house yesterday to photograph he and his wife Wendy's new babe Max and I was sentimentally reminded of the last two summer's worth of nights spent in their backyard, kickin' back a few and delighting in Matt's heaping mound of fireworks. Aaaah, fireworks! In my opinion, there's nothing like settling in for 20 minutes of pyrotechnic fury. I resurrected a few snaps from one of the best days of all. It made me want summer to arrive at warp speed.
