Here's a smattering of my fave pix from this week----a water fight, getting lost in the woods with a group of 7 year-olds and mini-golf. It's been a fun week to say the least!
Much to my surprise, I was treated to a magnificent display of pyrotechnics tonight right outside my door. The neighbors are crazier than I thought, blowing shell after shell of magical delight into the skies above our yard. Steve and I definitely moved to the right neighborhood. Good thing we have fire insurance.
The smoke in the neighborhood was crazy!
You'll have to deal with a bit of my lame-o video footage once again. Alas, there's no audio and the camera couldn't seem to focus, but I just wanted to give you a feel for the mayhem.
My best bud BK Angeletti gave me a snazzy birdhouse made out of a dried gourd a few years ago and I haven't put it out until this past year when Steve and I got the house. I waited patiently and eventually, I could tell that something was going on inside of it. I saw little birdies going in and out and sure enough, I got this amazing shot today. BABIES!
Steve and I met up with a few friends tonight for the Stratford fireworks. Instead of heading to the beach and dealing with traffic from heck, we camped out at DeLuca Field which is just down the road. It rocked! See for yourself... Tyler tripping the light fantastic
Love that dusky light Margie and Litzie Patt, Ty and Cliff patiently wait for the show to begin
The boys and Margie
A treat to satisfy us before the main event
Cliff gets in a game of ring-toss with Ty before the show
My girl Sarah and I hit Captain's Cove last night for a few drinkies. It was absolutely gorgeous out......a huge reminder of why I love the summer so much.
