Don't mess with her

I wish I had her confidence.

Rain delay

Friends of mine had their baby Sophia Christened on Sunday. There was a big reception planned afterwards but the crazy, violent storm that descended upon Fairfield really screwed up the shindig.

Doesn't this image look like a painting? It's so dreamy!

My boy Gary Zemola, owner of Super Duper Weenie, shunned the pending storm. It hit before he even had the chance to light his grill.

No threat of lightening could keep this guest away from the bar.

It ain't a party until an umbrella blows over!

A Christian commencement

I photographed Christian Heritage School's graduation in Trumbull yesterday. There were only 35 kids graduating so it made for a very intimate and personal ceremony.

And of course a few for shizz and giggles...

Threats

The ultimate in car alarms.

And so the onslaught begins

Oh yes---now begins "hell-on-earth" graduation season. If we cover one graduation, we have to cover them all. Even though they can be quite daunting, sometimes they can generate great shots, especially if the conditions are right (i.e. an outdoor venue in which we have free reign to wander and not in a dungeon-esque gym, like the one I shot in yesterday). They usually have all the same elements: caps and gowns, pomp and circumstance and plenty of yahoos to mug it up for the camera.

And I do mean yahoo.

Hey-is that Bonnie Tyler in the backround?

A parade celebration

Columbus School in Bridgeport held a parade last week in honor the school reading over 24,000 books during the school year. That's pretty amazing if you ask me. These are a few images from the parade (which was totally cool by the way). The kids were ecstatic about simply parading around the block. I think it made them feel pretty special---which they should. Oh, and don't mind my obsession with the big white taxi. I loved it!
